Yolanda has served communities across the U.S. over her 25-year career. From Macon, GA to Santa Fe, NM, Yolanda has worked with diverse populations and provided leadership in organizing community efforts. She returned to the Southeast in 2012 to be closer to her parents, who retired in Augusta, GA after 20 years of active duty in the U.S. Army.
Yolanda’s experience in program and resource development, management, and advocacy make her an ideal Outreach Director for our Aiken program location. She is passionate about helping people through her work in the nonprofit sector and has served as the Executive Director for numerous organizations including Aiken Habitat for Humanity, Family Promise of Anderson County, New Mexico Women’s Foundation, and the Women’s Intercultural Center.
In her free time, Yolanda loves to read, cook, and travel.
