Emily Cooper is a United States Marine Corps veteran, enlisting in 2008. She worked as an Aviation Supply Specialist at Stewart Airforce Base in Newburgh, New York. She is currently finishing her Bachelors in Psychology at Empire State College where she is a member of SALUTE, a National Veterans Honor Society. In the fall she hopes to pursue a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. She also volunteers at a therapeutic horse farm that works with retired racehorses as well as current race horses. This farm helped ignite her passion for working with horses in ways to help humans. Emily grew up in upstate New York where she currently resides with her husband and three children that she homeschools.
