Suzanne Berger

Equine Connection Coach & Equine Trainer in Baltimore County

Suzanne has had a lifelong passion for all horses, but especially Thoroughbreds, since childhood and her first horse, a TB mare. That horse, followed by many others, have allowed her to experience the amazing powers of learning, healing and communication that can exist between humans and these magnificent creatures.

After 30+ years as a Thoroughbred owner and trainer in Maryland, Suzanne shifted her focus to working with Thoroughbreds after their racing careers ended. She is an EAGALA certified Equine Specialist in addition to her work as an Equine Connection Coach, and serves as a facilitator for equine programs for Veterans and for children in foster care, utilizing the unique herd of equine partners residing at the Ag Center in Baltimore County, Maryland.

Suzanne retired from Baltimore County, Maryland, after a 23-year career as an Assistant County Attorney and five years as the Deputy Director of Human Resources. In that time, she advocated for sending Baltimore County employees who were Veterans (and often First Responders), through the Saratoga WarHorse program and was able to witness and hear, first hand, the immeasurable benefits and the lasting impact the three-day experience has on participants.

“Two feet move your body, four feet move your soul.”
